Loeb: Marvel “looking at” Heroes For Hire

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Ultimate Spider-Man showrunner Jeph Loeb stated that Marvel Studios is looking at the Heroes for Hire franchise as one they may potentially develop.

“Just like we just announced Guardians of the Galaxy, we are certainly looking at the Heroes for Hire franchise which is Luke Cage and Iron Fist”

Now, whether or not this means Marvel is moving forward with such a project is anyone’s guess. Heroes for Hire would be a smart move, as it would add a street-level element to an otherwise very epic-in-scale Marvel Cinematic Universe, while also adding some much-needed diversity to a fairly whitewashed collection of characters.
